This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information provided through our website (www.bcbabby.com) and during the delivery of our fieldwork supervision services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide high-quality supervision and meet the requirements of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB®).
Supervisee Information: Name, email address, phone number, BACB ID number, university affiliation, and payment information.
Supervision Documentation: Fieldwork contracts, Monthly Fieldwork Verification Forms (M-FVF), Final Fieldwork Verification Forms (F-FVF), and tracker logs.
Clinical Data (De-identified): As part of supervision, students may share clinical data, behavior intervention plans (BIPs), or functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
Video Observations: Recorded sessions of the supervisee working with clients, provided for the purpose of required clinical observation and feedback.
2. Confidentiality of Student & Client Information
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and our professional ethics.
Client Privacy: We strictly adhere to the BACB® Ethics Code regarding client confidentiality. All client information shared by supervisees must be de-identified (using initials or pseudonyms) unless a specific authorization for disclosure is in place.
Video Security: Videos submitted for supervision are used solely for clinical evaluation and feedback. These files are stored on secure, encrypted platforms and are deleted once they are no longer required for documentation or audit purposes.
Student Records: We maintain supervisee records (contracts and verification forms) for a minimum of seven (7) years, as required by the BACB®.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
Provide remote supervision and feedback.
Verify fieldwork hours for BACB® certification.
Process payments for services and resources.
Communicate updates regarding supervision schedules or ABA resources.
Comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory obligations.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use secure third-party platforms to facilitate our services. These may include:
Google Classroom/Workspace: For assignment submission and feedback.
Squarespace/Stripe: For website hosting and secure payment processing.
Video Conferencing Tools: For 1:1 and group supervision meetings. These providers are prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than providing these services to us.
5. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties. We may disclose information only when:
Required by the BACB®: During an audit of a supervisee’s hours or a supervisor’s records.
Legal Necessity: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of a client or the public.
Consent: With your explicit written permission.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage supervisees to use HIPAA-compliant methods when sharing any sensitive clinical documentation.

You have the right to:
Access and review the supervision records we maintain about you.
Request corrections to inaccurate information.
Request the deletion of your personal data (subject to the BACB’s 7-year record retention requirement).
